I found out it is the cover for the front camera washer. When the windshield washers are activated, a small nozzle pops out of the nook behind the tab and squirts the camera lens. The tab I snapped off is just a cover.

I've been lurking around since March 12 when I brought mine home and am wondering where all the California folks are.

Does anyone know what the pull tab next to the camera on the front end is?
